Second Annual Advent Lunch & Mission

Sunday, December 8, following Worship

Last year’s event was so well received that the MFC Team is planning for another similar event this year. Join us on Sunday, December 8, for our Second Annual Advent Lunch and Mission Project.

After Worship, we will share a delicious meal and then roll up our sleeves to work together on a mission project. This year our project will benefit children going into the Allegheny County foster care system.

Often when foster children are moved into the system, not only do they have very little to call their own, but what they do have is stuffed into a plastic garbage bag. Heritage Church, we can do better for these children!

With directions from Together We Rise, let’s decorate and stuff duffel bags to replace those garbage bags. Our decorated filled bags will be donated to kids in the foster care system in Allegheny County. A sign up sheet is in Fellowship Hall. Invite a friend to join us for this worth while activity and help make a difference for a young child.
