HPC Run With Faith Virtual 5K Benefit

We’re hosting a RUN WITH FAITH virtual 5K to benefit our mission partners at the Pittsburgh Project. The real prize will be to help raise money for the Pittsburgh Project. The Pittsburgh Project is a Christian nonprofit community organization with a thirty-four year history of service to the Pittsburgh area, through investment in future leaders and vulnerable homeowners. Located on Pittsburgh’s Northside, they operate a progressive series of youth after-school programs, they welcome partners year-round to serve community homeowners, and they operate local recreation spaces for the citizens of Pittsburgh.

The cost for the event is $25 per competitor and families of four can register for $75. All proceeds will be going to the Pittsburgh Project. Payments can be made through paypal (link below) or a check can be dropped off or mailed to the church. Checks should be made out to Heritage Presbyterian Church.

Each participant will get a racing number to download and print for the race and a shirt can be picked up at the church after completing the race. Each competitor will have a week from July 18th to July 25th to complete a total distance of a 5K by walking, jogging or running alone or with your family or even your pets. Prizes and medals will be awarded for winners in different age categories. Proof of time (Map My Run, Fitbit, Strava etc.) should be sent into heritagevirtual5K@gmail.com.
