Congregation Update from Session

Dear Heritage Family,

As your session elders, we trust that you will join us in prayer as we look to 2021 and beyond.  We will do our best to keep you informed as we take the next steps with God to determine who the next Senior Pastor will be “for such a time as this.”  We have a  gifted dedicated church family and “we will be okay.”

   Pittsburgh Presbytery has provided us with two former pastors who will work with us as we search for, nominate, and eventually    install a new Senior Pastor.  We have a Session Meeting with Rev. Brian Wallace and Rev. Dr. Larry Ruby on January 5, 2021 to articulate and begin the next steps in this process. 

We will provide an update following that meeting.   Please be in prayer and join worship in person or via live-streaming.

The worship team has arranged for preaching for January and February.  

January 3 – Rev. Alick Kennedy (Communion)

January 10 – Rev. Brian Wallace (remote Congregational Meeting to follow)

January 17, 24, 31 – Rev. Kay Day

February 7 (Communion), 14, 21, 28 – Rev. Alick Kennedy
