Guest Preacher: Rev. Dr. Ron Barnes

We look forward to having our long-time friend and partner in ministry, Rev. Dr. Ron Barnes, preaching at Heritage on Sunday, April 11. Rev. Barnes is the Executive Director of Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry.  He is married to Cheri and they have one son, Dylan who is married to Carly.  He has two grandchildren, Kyton 9 and Tesslyn 5.  Ron is a graduate of Eastern Baptist Seminary with an M. Div. in Pastoral Counseling and is ordained in the American Baptist Church. He has a Masters in Social Work from Temple University with an emphasis in Family and Marital Therapy and holds a Doctor of Ministry from Pittsburgh Theological with a focus on Spiritual Formation. Anchorpoint is a long time ministry partner of Heritage Church. Since 1966!  Many Heritage congregants have served this ministry over the years as board members, staff, tutors, and volunteers. One of Heritage’s more recent collaborations with Anchorpoint is the CARE for Single Moms and their Children Support Group.
