Now through Christmas will be collecting NEW and UNUSED items needed by the Veterans Place of Pittsburgh, an organization that provides housing, resources, and hope for veterans in need.

Requested items include:
Socks, Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Razors, Wet wipes, Feminine hygiene products, Towels and washcloths, Laundry detergent, Dryer sheets, Laundry bags, Shelf-stable (non-expired) food, Men’s and women’s clothing, Winter gloves, hats, and scarves, Umbrellas or ponchos, Backpacks, Sneakers (Men’s sizes 10–13, Women’s sizes 8–11), To-go containers, Individually packaged condiments, Pillows and blankets, Twin sheets, and Mattress covers.

Please place your donations in the collection bins located in the narthex. All food items should be non-expired and store-bought. If the church is closed when you arrive with your donations, please them on the bench outside the front doors in a box or bag labeled for the Veteran’s Place. Or, call the church office and speak with to Ted to arrange for a drop off.

Thank you for helping us share warmth, dignity, and care with our veterans this season.
