Youth & Families

For us at Heritage, its not about programs that separate children by age (although there are times when this is appropriate).  It’s about welcoming them into church life and encouraging children to learn about and develop a relationship with God while they explore the gifts that God has given them.  It is common to see a teen behind the sound board or playing an instrument in the worship band; a middle school student serving food at our community meal ministry; or a 4th grader along side a parent welcoming you as a junior usher on Sunday morning. God has given everyone gifts no matter the age.  At Heritage, we encourage kids to explore and learn as we nurture their spiritual growth.

Nursery: Children are invited to attend our nursery during the 10 am service. During that time they will be playing, hearing Bible stories and working on art activities. If you are questions regarding Nursery please reach out to Ted Griffin our youth director at [email protected]

Sunday School: We offer classes for all ages. Sunday school for youth happens during the service. During this class they will learn about what it means to be a Christian, and apply it to their lives. Adult Sunday school will after worship in the lounge.

Community Playground: Our playground is open to the public. We welcome everyone to enjoy our beautiful playground and grounds.

412 Youth: All youth are welcome to join us after the church service for a moment of service to our community. There is a lot of laughter, hang-time, snacks (of course!), and great conversation as kids gather for mission work; teaching them how to live a life of service. Come check us out.
